Global Warming and CyclesI have a burning question.  What is wrong with Global Warming? Really this is possibly just part of the earths natural cycle and we could all be giving ourselves way too much credit.  What if, the earth was warming as part of its natural cycle and we really don’t have an impact on this?  Maybe we could take the phenomenon we are witnessing and realize that it could benefit society.  Regions currently inhospitable nearer the poles are slowly warming.  I beleive this could offset the landmass loss of livable areas that are succumbing to desertification.  As we lose lands that are good for living and agriculture, the ice’s receding will replenish the land with fertile, hospitable lands - but only for so long.     What about 15,000 years ago when little cottonwood was covered with ice?  Were the Indians freaking out about Bonneville’s rising shores from the cottonwood canyon glaciers calving - I’m guessing not really.   We need to get a grip!

15,000 years ago there weren’t nearly 7 billion people living on this planet. Funny how that is never mentioned by those who scoff at the notion of global warming.
